Rustic candles are produced by mechanical casting of paraffin in special forms. The surface of the candles is matte and uneven, it may also have small holes due to air bubbles that may form during the casting process. This surface gives the candles an antique look. Paraffin layers will also be visible as a result. Rustic candles can be treated with different techniques, obtaining both texture and drawings or lacquered surface. These candles are not as perfectly smooth and shiny as powder-printed, but with a beautiful, warm tone. Sometimes with the effect of cracking, which can be achieved by cooling the candle rapidly.
